Tips to Troubleshooting HDX Performance
First, here are the common culprits behind HDX performance and connection issues of the possible root causes.
- Non responsive desktop
- Poor response time, high bandwidth usage
- Misconfigured Active Directory
- Misconfigured client
- StoreFront or Web Interface cannot complete request
- VDA not registering with a Delivery Control or launch fails
- Delivery Control misconfigured
- Windows Server down or misconfigured

Always a good first step is to make sure you can access the local console on the host as well as connect to the desktop over RDP just to rule out a frozen Windows session.
