Add-ons and plugins In JIRA

Add-ons and plugins
Add-ons, also known as plugins, add extra functionality to your Atlassian Cloud apps. From managing versioned documentation to creating mockups and wireframes, there's a whole range of possibilities.
Add-ons are added to each Atlassian Cloud app, individually. Check out the documentation for your app(s), below.
1. JIRA Applications – Managing Add-ons
2. Confluence – Managing Add-ons or Plugins
How do I get new add-ons?
The Atlassian Marketplace is a one-stop shop for add-ons to Atlassian products. Visit the marketplace to see what's available; you can filter by the Atlassian app you're using, or just go ahead and search for something.
You can also reach the marketplace via the "Find New Add-ons" screen in the Administration section of Jira applications or Confluence.
There are two types of add-ons that you can install in your site:
1. Add-ons delivered through Atlassian Connect – Atlassian Connect allows remote add-ons to securely interact with Atlassian products. The add-ons run independently of the Atlassian Cloud service and interact via standard web protocols.
2. Bundled add-ons – Cloud applications come with a set of bundled add-ons that can be enabled or disabled at any time.
There are free and commercial add-ons using both delivery methods.
